FOR TOURIST BOARDS & DESTINATION PARTNERS

A broader Croatia.
A longer season.

An independent platform connecting visitor decisions with local knowledge. Explore Croatia is not the official Croatian National Tourist Board website.

Where this platform can help

Seasonal discovery

The autumn guide and month finder give visitors reasons to plan around food, culture and nature beyond summer.

Regional discovery

Inland routes sit alongside coastal destinations. “Stay another night” suggestions make a fuller local visit practical.

Useful local referrals

Guides direct readers to tourist boards, parks and transport operators for current details. Corrections can be traced to source pages.

These are product objectives, not measured tourism outcomes. The platform does not claim to have reduced crowding, generated overnight stays or received institutional endorsement.

Current editorial coverage

Counts below describe this edition of the guide. They are not tourism statistics. Regions are broad navigation groups, not an official statistical classification.

Gaps worth filling together

The atlas now includes Central Croatia, Zagorje, Međimurje, Gorski kotar and individual eastern Croatian destinations. The next priority is depth: locally reviewed routes, precise accessibility details, seasonal opening dates and verified transport links. Beach facilities and new visitor arrangements at Zagorske gore need current local confirmation.

What a useful contribution contains

  1. The exact place and the official source URL.
  2. Seasonal operating dates, transport details and the date checked.
  3. Specific access information: surfaces, gradients, steps, adapted toilets and available assistance.
  4. Photographs with the photographer’s name and written reuse terms.
  5. A public contact for corrections, plus any commercial relationship that needs disclosure.

How impact should be measured

A future measurement programme should distinguish autumn-guide readership, referrals to regional partners, saved destinations and completed bookings confirmed by operators. Interest is not a booking, and a booking is not automatically an additional overnight stay.

No visitor analytics or tourism-impact dashboard is active in this edition. Any future reporting should use consent where required, aggregate results and clearly disclose limitations.
